On August 6, 2022, GCL Group and Renshou County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province signed a "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement" for 300,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials. Mingyu, deputy secretary of the Renshou County Party Committee and county magistrate, led a delegation to visit the Jiangsu Suzhou GCL Energy Center and held a discussion with Zhu Gongshan, chairman of GCL Group, and officially signed the cathode material project investment agreement.

On March 3, 2023, with the topping up of Factory A, the first batch of equipment for the project officially entered the construction site, marking the start of the countdown hourglass for the project. Next, all employees of Sichuan XieXin Lithium Battery will work together as a team and devote themselves to the sprint work before the project is put into operation with the spirit of a fighter, ensuring the smooth operation of the project.

On the morning of July 1, 2023, under the witness of Hu Yuankun, secretary of the Meishan Municipal Party Committee of Sichuan Province, Huang He, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and mayor, Zhao Wenqiao, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Meishan Party Working Committee of Tianfu New Area, Zou Rulin, deputy mayor, Wang Yue, deputy director of the Tianfu New Area Management Committee and secretary of the Renshou County Party Committee, Mingyu, deputy secretary of the Renshou County Party Committee and county magistrate, Zhu Gongshan, chairman of GCL Group, and other leaders, the largest energy storage project in Meishan with the only physical dry process in the industry, the annual production of 120000 tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials project by Sichuan Xiexin Lithium Battery Technology Co., Ltd. has officially been put into operation.
